Welcome to the 4th session of #CAP hosted by the Psi Omega Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
We invite students, parents, community members, and other student advocates to join us in kicking off the 2021-2022 Session and learn more about how you and your scholar can get involved.
The purpose of the program is to assist High School Juniors and Seniors navigate the college preparation, application, and admissions process. #CAP is a step-by-step approach to facilitate college admissions from researching various institutions and submitting applications through completion of the enrollment process. Psi Omega Omega Chapter is dedicated to assisting students in completing college applications, preparing for the ACT and SAT, writing compelling personal statements, navigating financial aid and scholarships, as well as compiling a portfolio to track college admissions results. Our program for the 2021-2022 Academic Year will begin in September 2021 and continue through June 2022. The commitment from the students is to attend one (1) session per month on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, remotely via Zoom
